About Me
Anne Bach has worked as an active freelancer in and around the Chicago since 2001. She performs regularly with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chicago Philharmonic, and has played extensively with Lyric Opera of Chicago, Joffrey Ballet and Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. She was appointed principal of Music of the Baroque in 2017 and plays English horn and assistant principal oboe in Grant Park Symphony, where she has been a member since 2004.
Originally from Rochester, NY, Anne studied with Richard Killmer at the Eastman School of Music, where she was awarded the prestigious Performer's Certificate. She has previously served on faculty at Vandercook College of Music and Sherwood Conservatory at Columbia College of Chicago, and has been on faculty with Chicago Summer Opera since 2024.
