°µÍø½ûÇøÆÆ½â°æ and the  are excited to announce a new partnership that grants free museum admission to RU students, faculty and staff. University community members can present their °µÍø½ûÇøÆÆ½â°æ ID and receive complimentary access to the museum’s many exhibits as well as register for group tours, curatorial lectures and museum programming at a reduced rate. Current exhibits focus on Abraham Lincoln, protest art used by activist groups in the 1960s and 70s, and Chicago’s importance as a railroad hub. 

This partnership exemplifies °µÍø½ûÇøÆÆ½â°æâ€™s commitment to educational accessibility, and signals future collaboration between University departments and one of the nation’s premier history museums. Students can also access the museum’s , an immense artifact collection that contains preserved newspapers, manuscripts, magazines, photographs and architectural drawings sourced from across Chicago’s 77 community areas. Students can use these valuable resources for class projects or personal enrichment, and are encouraged to learn about the city’s rich cultural diversity and historic importance.
