ƽ President Ali R. Malekzadeh appeared on Chicago's local NBC affiliate this weekend to celebrate the University's 80th anniversary and its continuing legacy of educational equity. Joining NBC 5 Chicago's "Making a Difference" segment, President Ali discussed the University's founding in 1945 when it rejected racial and religious student quotas in its admission practices. He also highlighted ƽ's continued efforts to accept and platform students and faculty of all backgrounds.

Additionally, all are welcome to attend . CCPA (Chicago College of Performing Arts) alumna Courtney Reed will escort attendees on musical journey from the beloved classics of the 1940s to today’s show-stopping hits. The evening will be hosted by CCPA alumnus and actor Parvesh Cheena, and tickets are currently available for purchase.
